SAKY METAL is a recognized manufacturer of AISI 1045 Round Bars, which is medium tensile steel supplied in the black hot rolled or normalized condition. DIN 1.1191 Round Bars responds to heat treatment, and flame and induction hardening, but not recommended for carburizing or cyaniding. UNS G10450 Round Bars shows good strength, toughness and wear resistance. Typical applications of C-45 Round Bars are axles, bolts, connecting rods, studs, rams, pins, rolls, spindles, ratchets, crankshafts, torsion bars, sockets, worms, light gears, guide rods, etc. AISI 1045 mild/low carbon steel round bars is characterised by fairly good strength and impact properties, plus good machinability and reasonable weldability in the hot rolled or normalised condition. AISI 1045 medium low-carbon steel bars are also popular because of its ability to be machined easily. C1045 Round Bars does not however respond satisfactorily to nitriding due to a lack of suitable alloying elements.
